Full Packing Service
If a move falls apart, it usually falls apart at the packing stage, and for most South Shore families it is also the chore they put off longest. Our own crew handles it instead, working through the house one room at a time so nothing arrives at the new place in pieces. We turn up with the cartons, the paper, the tape, and the dish barrels, mark each box with its room so unloading flies, and fold the packing into your written move quote before the day.
The Whole House, Room by Room
The kitchen and the china, the books and the records, the linens and the closets all get boxed, along with the corners everyone avoids: the cellar and the attic. In a Wollaston three-decker that means we are the ones carrying the cartons back down the triple staircase, and in a Milton Victorian it means wrestling the built-ins and the awkward landings. The crew takes the lot, wraps it properly, and stacks it so the load travels without shifting.
What Full Pack Includes
- Every carton, sheet of packing paper, roll of tape, and specialty box for dishes, glass, and wardrobes
- Dish barrels and double-walled cartons for the kitchen, the china cabinet, and the stemware
- Mirrors, artwork, lamps, and televisions wrapped and crated in their own protective boxes
- A room label on each carton so the crew drops it exactly where it lands at the new place
- The cellar, attic, garage, and closets all boxed rather than dumped on you to sort last-minute
- A partial pack on offer when you only want the kitchen and the breakables covered
Done the Day Before or the Morning Of
On a full house we usually pack the day ahead, leaving move day for nothing but the load and the drive. Smaller places we can pack and move in the same morning. Whichever it is, the same Movers South Shore crew does both, so a missing box never turns into finger-pointing, since we boxed it and we hauled it.
Why It Is Worth It
A carton packed by hands that do it daily rides far steadier than one slapped together at midnight, and it lands intact. Too many self-packed kitchens have crossed my path in shards because nobody wrapped the glasses. Hand it to our crew to do right, and lean on the federal coverage behind it: released value at $0.60 per pound, with full-value protection on offer at roughly one to three percent of the declared value.
